Rules, Terms, and Conditions
PRIZE

The prize is a free 1-page website design. The winner will also receive 3 months of free hosting for their website.
- Professional Site Design: Responsive layout, branding, and searchable.
- Features: 1 Hero (jumbo) image, 6 gallery images, contact form, social media links, about us section, contact information, hours of operation, payment methods, and keywords.
- Plus: 24/7 D-I-Y access to make changes at will, 24/7 access to view your built-in traffic statistics, and connection of your domain name. PURCHASE of domain name is NOT included.
- Three (3) months of cloud hosting, secure sockets layer (SSL), and email and phone support.
- Additional features or pages may be added at the winner's expense.
- *While the prize holds a value of $289, it is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize carries no cash value and must be accepted as awarded.
ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to individuals who are:
- Aged 18 and above AND
- Reside in the United States of America or its territories.

The contest is open to small businesses meeting all the following criteria:
- Located in the United States of America or its territories AND
- Are "Service-Oriented” that primarily focus on providing services, intangible products, or expertise to customers or clients, rather than tangible goods or products AND

Are not marketing and/or advertising agencies, and/or web design businesses.
- Are not currently clients of SparkDog Web Design+.
- Do not participate in any ventures and/or activities that are illicit, sexually explicit, illegal, discriminatory, or in otherwise poor taste.
HOW TO ENTER
- To enter, participants must submit a completed Entry Form.
- Participants must submit an essay titled "Why My Business Needs a Website," which is part of the Entry Form. The essay must be between 100 to 300 words. The essay must be written in English.

Only one entry per business is allowed. Multiple entries from the same business will result in the business being disqualified.
WINNER SELECTION

The winner will be selected based on the creativity of their essay titled "Why My Business Needs a Website" and their need for a website.
- The decision of the judges is final.
CONTEST PERIOD
The contest begins on January 27, 2024, and ends on February 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
NOTIFICATION
- The winner will be notified via email and/or phone on March 7, 2024.
- If the winner does not respond within three (3) calendar days, another winner will be selected.
PUBLICITY
- By entering, participants grant SparkDog Web Design+ the right to use their name and entry for promotional purposes.
- The winner grants SparkDog Web Design+ the right to use their name, entry, and website for promotional purposes.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- By entering the contest, participants agree to abide by these rules.
- By entering the contest, participants agree to receive emails from SparkDog Web Design+.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.
- The website design may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
